2018年6月22日（周五）上午10點(diǎn)，受湖北大學(xué)外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院研究生院之邀，來(lái)自阿根廷薩爾瓦多大學(xué)的Veronica Perez Guarnieri 教授在逸夫人文樓A2014為外院全體師生開(kāi)展了題為 “Standards As a Major Tool to Raise Awareness of the Importance of Translation and Interpreting” 的學(xué)術(shù)講座，我院多位骨干教師和英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)研究生參加了此次講座。本次講座由外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院邢星老師主持。
本次講座中Veronica Perez Guarnieri教授主要介紹了翻譯與口譯的相關(guān)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，目的是提高學(xué)者對(duì)其重要性的認(rèn)識(shí)與理解，其內(nèi)容主要圍繞以下幾個(gè)方面展開(kāi)：1. 制定翻譯與口譯相關(guān)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的重要性，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的制定對(duì)于進(jìn)行翻譯與口譯有著指導(dǎo)性作用；2.如何制定標(biāo)準(zhǔn)及其大致步驟，其中主要經(jīng)歷六個(gè)階段：new work item proposal→ building expert consensus→ consensus building with TC/SC→ enquiry on DIS(Draft International Standard)→ formal vote on FDIS→ publication of international standards; 3. 解讀國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化組織（International Organization for Standardization，ISO）對(duì)于翻譯與口譯所制定的國(guó)際化標(biāo)準(zhǔn)；4. 分析阿根廷對(duì)于翻譯與口譯所制定的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，除了統(tǒng)一化、國(guó)際化標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，由于地域差異，不同國(guó)家還會(huì)制定適應(yīng)本國(guó)需要的相關(guān)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。正所謂“沒(méi)有規(guī)矩，不成方圓”，翻譯與口譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的制定將會(huì)提高學(xué)者們對(duì)其重要性的認(rèn)識(shí)與重視，同時(shí)也為翻譯與口譯的發(fā)展奠定良好基礎(chǔ)。
專(zhuān)家簡(jiǎn)介：Ms. Pérez Guarnieri is a Conference Interpreter, English Professor and Certified Translator from Universidad del Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Translation Skills from City University in the UK and a Master’s Degree in Specialized Translation (Máster en Traducción Especializada) from Universidad de Córdoba in Spain, where she later pursued doctoral studies in the area of legal translation. She obtained her Ph.D. Cum Laude from Universidad de Córdoba in Spain in 2017. Ms. Pérez Guarnieri is an interpreter and translator with more than 20 years’ experience working for international agencies such as the UN, the OAS, FIFA, FAO, World Rugby, The American Embassy, The British Council and The Green Climate Fund, in addition to multinational companies and government agencies. In 2015 she joined Calliope -Interpreters, the prestigious international network of consultant interpreters.
